The numbers show that Atlantic Southeast Airlines, a former Delta Air Lines (nyse: DAL - news - people ) unit that still has working agreements for baggage and other ground operations with its former parent in Atlanta, and which ranks at or next to the bottom in all three categories, has earned the dubious distinction of America’s worst airline.

Way to go Brian, you go boy! Do they need any more reason to fire the useless b#stards in the GO???!!! Somebody help us pleeeeeeaaaase................:smash:

BL and all his friends would have been gone a long time ago if anybody really cared about this kind of stuff. I'd have to say they're still here for a reason.

Until delta threatens Skywest Inc. with replacing ASA, Jerry and friends will continue to pay lip service to the bad press.

BL will not be replaced until that happens or we achieve a new contract.

They make 40million a quarter!

Fact: Delta knows that they now have the power to fix baggage, and gate times, therefore they know they can only cast blame on ASA so much.

The reason for this is that ASA is not evaluated/graded on these metrics of customer satisfaction. ASA is graded, as all airlines are, by their financial statements. Until these customer service related things are taken into account in the evaluation of ASA, this will continue.

These issues will NOT be addressed because the airline is still making a large amount of money.

The flying public has demonstrated repeatedly that their primary concern is with the cheapest possible fares, not with quality service. The quality of service is irrelevant in the purchasing process as long as the consumer's price is the lowest price possible.

Nothing new to see here, move along...

I would be curious to see SKW OT % being that they only park on A and B. Also to see the OT % of OH as they only park on C and D.

How much of this problem is DL Ops vs ASA mgmnt vs vendors (catering/fueling) vs self-induced (HAVOC)?

Other than the recent maintenance issues, our poor performance is almost exclusively operational, which is exclusively under the control of Delta. However, the more the gate agents show them as crew delays the better considering the recent developments in negotiations and changes in our benefits.
