anyone know what's up with Virgin Atlantic going american?

and by the way, anyone who knows about requirements for working for a non-american airline?

If it happens it will be an american airline. Foreign ownership can only be 49% and only a 25% voting stock.
 
Spoke to a Virgin Captain the other day and he said that Branson is still looking for authorization. With the mountain of money he sits on, I am sure it won't be much longer until he does get authorized.

I heard that ACA might try a code share type deal with virgin. Or Branson might buy 49% of ACA or something like that.
