Eagle is always for sale. The problem is nobody in their right mind wants to buy an airline with almost all obsolete aircraft, a very senior workforce, and restricted by one of the few remaining mainline scope clauses in the industry that worth a hoot.

Supposidly did and didn't like the restrictions AMR put on the sale..rumors mind you but you got to love 'em. People get so wound up by them.
