What is the latest info y'all have been given? Has the union told you anything? Has the company announced fleet plans yet? I've been out of the loop for a few weeks and haven't spoken to my friends over there. Our training department was saying Eagle is offering their 145 sim slots at DFW and we're scooping them up for upgrades and newhires. It sure doesn't seem like they are in a rush to get the ATR guys into the ERJ since they are giving up their slots. Buddy of mine former ATR DFW is just sitting around doing nothing.

Not really much info from the union, as they don't really have much to work with until the scope stuff is figured out with APA. Supposedly in talks with Embraer about current aircraft leases and possibly exchanging them for -175s after AA scope is figured out. Fleet plans come out (a month after the original schedule) on Feb. 27. Hence why AA is trying to figure out the scope with APA. But anything could happen at this point. Who knows Republic, Skywest, or anyone else under the sun could end up with AA flying when all is said and done since "Eagle is so expensive." I think they may try to shove the TA they proposed to us prior to going in bankruptcy down our throats. Every rumor is out there as well, from us being stapled to AA's list, to CHQ flying -175s for AA. Eagle's going to either end up sitting pretty well, or going the way of Comair when all is said and done. (No offense to the Comair folk!) I think the company realizes the FT/DT regs as well as the ATP rules coming out, so they're trying to stay fat on pilots...until the fleet plan at least.

I'm a displaced DFW ATR guy as well and I don't enter training until mid March. Some displaced ATR guys start training in a week, others not until late April. It's a nice vacation at least, but sucks not getting any per diem.

And they just requested another extension with the EMJ lease negotiations. So, looks like no fleet plan anytime soon.
