The most amazing thing about this is they had 37 people on a 135. I haver seen that plane go full.
 
The 135 are rarely if ever restricted.
 
Has the NTSB come up with an answer as to why the ERJ touched ground with no gear.

No, but I hope they come up with why Jetblue watched the entire approach with no gear and stayed quiet until after the fact.

The crew had every cockpit indication that the gear were in fact down, including the sound from the front gear doors.
 
can you make money on 37-44 pax??? burning about the same fuel of the e-145???? Just do the math..

I know DL use to pay ASA 2800-2900 for an hour of flight time for a 50 seater, and then pays the fuel bill as well...every flight has to be full 50 pax
 
You could make money when Eagle bought them and filled them with high paying passengers and low oil.

Now they're just another anchor as the very entity that forced us into working with Embraer to create a 37 seat jet to satisfy their scope throws us to the wolves... errr... divests us.
