Anybody knows what their captain requirements are? They are going to Hawaii from what I heard.

They are in Hawaii!

2 beech turboprops are parked on the ramp at Kahului. 'Alpine Air' painted on them.

They're already offering my school's CFI's 'jobs' flying right seat...incredible.

Oh yeah, I guess I could have been more overtly disgusted...it didn't come through in my typing, sorry.

That's what I meant by 'jobs'. (note quotes).

What a bunch of losers. I read a report of their shareholders meeting, they are saying the PFT program is how they are planning their 'return to profitability'...that and bilking 'partners' out of money by 'leasing' out 99/1900s and then servicing them.

What a joke, I hope they go under.

WHO PAY?

theres always someone whos convinced its a good idea.

i met one of their "captains" many moons ago in LBB. he was touting the fact that he had bought 900 (yes i said 900) hours from them. at that time he had ~800 total and claimed to be typed...VFR only :p

needless to say, i cut the conversation short and left
