According to our AQOurairline website, our on time performance goal is a pathetic 76%. Currently, our actual on time performance is an even more pathetic 60% for the month.
Also, our goal for on time + 5 is only 81%. We are currently MTD at an embarrassing 66.5%.
Can anyone tell me who the genius is that sets these "goals"?
Furthermore, can anyone tell me why our performance is so bad when most of our flying involves VMC operations?!! The airports that we fly to are also not "heavy traffic airports" either.
The DOT doesn't take in to consideration "Hawaiian time", like Aloha seems to be content with. Hawaiian Airlines seems to have the right idea. What we need to do is keep replacing the people that work for us with their "island mentality", b/c if we don't --- as it has been said before in other areas of discussion, we're doomed.
