I just spent the last hour reading posts on Allegiant, so please don't bust my balls and tell me to "do a search and find your answer."

1. Am I competative? 2500tt - 1800-jet - ATP - 2 type ratings in corp. jets. - no pinks- only 100hrs jet pic.

2. How long to get an Orlando base?

3. How to apply? I do not see "Pilot" in the list of job openings on the website...still hiring??

Thanks for the help guys/gals.

I'm afraid not. You have to have 3000TT just to apply. I had a friend ask one of the interviewers for me when I had 2800+ and they told him I have to have 3000+...which I do now.

i have a buddy there he says 3000 tt is a hard number regardless of how many people they have had bail out in recent months due to low pay. apparently they are still getting very interested and qualified people at 3000 hours to fill slots. im 100 away FROM 3000TT with 3 internals and they say 3000 or nothing FWIW.

Our GOM says 3000 total with an ATP.... No getting around that.

If you look further down it also states that the CP can waive the time requirements in writing if the person has other valuable experience. But I agree that they probably won't do that yet. Of course with a 40% no-show rate to the interviews, the time may be approaching.

The question was asked to the current CP and he said never, or until he retires at least.

Not sure how, but I got an interview without an ATP.

My guess is they messed up. If the interview is scheduled, you might want to check with the person who called you, or you might end up spending money on a trip to Vegas for not.
