Does anyone have any information about Allegiant Air and their hiring porjections for 2006? I am a furloughed NWA pilot looking to salvage my career. Any info would be appreciated.

Allegiant will start hiring later in the summer, with a projected 40ish new hires this year. Hiring will continue into next year and beyond.

If you live in base, Allegiant is a great place to work. 2 leg out and backs are the norm. Pay is on the low side, but the company is new and that will hopefully change.

We have some unhappy people here as you do everwhere. The most junior Captain was hired in June 05.

Mins are 3000 hours. No training contract. My friend who works there is very happy with them. Crewbases are Sanford, Fl, Laughlin, NV, Reno and Las Vegas.
