Hello,

I have recently been thinking of doing the self paced ACP program that ALLATP has. I would do the training in Atlanta. By the time I would start training with them, I'd have my Private License. So I would be going there for Instrument, ME-Comm, and all the instructor ratings. For those of you that have done the self paced program, could you please answer me a few questions.

First, Would I be able to complete the program as fast as I want? I would be able attend the school 5 full days a week. The only reason I can't do the 90 day fast track is because I'll need most of the weekends off this summer due to weddings. So, I'm hoping I'll be able to complete training in under 4 or 5 months.

Second, if I did do the self paced program, would I have as much of a chance to get hired from ATP as a Fast Track student?

Third, I saw on the website that ATP requires that if you already have your private, you need 85 hours. Well when I finish, I'm guessing I'll have a little over 50. So would I need to basically rent a plane and fly it around for 30 hours just to get in their program? That sounds like a waste of money, but please let me know the details on this.

I'm also considering a local FBO, but it doesn't seem like I'd save THAT much money. Especially if I wanted the kind of Multi Time that I would get at ATP. It would be nice not to stress out about finding ME students.

Thanks in advance for your help!
