ETDTBA - that snippet you posted has nothing at all to do with foreign ownership stakes in US airlines. In fact, the opening line is not only inflammatory, but misleading: "Thousands of pilot jobs in this country will soon be outsourced to foreign airlines..."

Allow me to translate: "Thousands of American pilots will soon be flying at foreign airlines..." A far cry from the "outsourcing" that is a real problem for American workers these days. What's wrong with thousands of new jobs for US pilots, regardless of their age? If the over-60 set doesn't take those jobs, the under-60's will.

For that matter, "soon?" What exactly is new about the Age-60 Rule?

The repeal of the Age-60 Rule is the only agenda behind that article. "Outsourcing" doesn't enter into it.

Nice try, though.
