I'd love from anyone who took the test there. Was the training worth the $295??

Thanks for your inputs.

I diddn't study at all prior to showing up.
I got 99% on the ATP,
!00% on the FE.

It was worth it to me.

Did it twice at ATP about 5 years apart.(pre hire at major, and post furlough at major!) Didn't study squat prior to going, got a 100% both times.

The second time was pretty much a cluster flop as far as the staffing went, guy was late to set us up, and then didn't really know what he was doing, but since it is 100% computer based once he gets you going it worked out.

If you need it quick, go to someplace like that, if you have the time, buy the Gleim book and study it and save a few bucks. Very simple test, pretty much filling in the squares for the FAA.

Simple solution.

Go buy the Gliem F/E Prep book

Take the written at your local written taking place.

Save a bunch of cash and go drinking with it

I second that!

I am using sheppard air and it is great. You can download the reduced study guide which just has the possible questions that may be asked and weeds out a lot of the questions from the gleim. It is similar to ATP, but you can study at home and take the test at your local airport for a fraction of the cost.

I got called on a Friday to see if I could be in class the following Monday, went to KORL ATP on Saturday with no prep and got 100%.
