Terrible news, my sympathy goes out to everyone affected by this. Especially sad because yesterday I figured they were both fine after being rescued.

Albie's not flying military anymore, unless I'm mistaken. Two Eglin jets from the 33d Wing. Tyndall is the Eagle schoolhouse and there are several Guard/Reserve type IPs there. Eglin does have some Reservists, but not many.

Magnum is correct. My fini flight was Jan 07.

I'm hoping and praying its not someone I know, and feeling guilty at the same time for such thoughts. This is part of the business...but its the part that sucks.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the pilot and his family. Having grown up here by Eglin, it's always sad to see servicemembers die on training missions.

God that really sucks. Almost irresponsible of the media to jump on news like that without confirmation. Reminds me of the Coal Miners that were killed in West Va.

Prayers to all involved, especially the family and the surviving member of the flight. I can't imagine the survivors guilt.
