Found out today that the Airways w/o's are in the process of trying to combine FA senority rosters based on straight date of hire. whats next the pilots groups also? This is complete BS and needs to be stopped.

It appears the PSA AFA chairwoman is engaged to the ALG AFA chairman. Talk about conflict of interest.

It seems these "arangements" were being worked out in secret and the PSA f/a group was completley unaware of the goings on. The information got out, so the PSA chairwoman shut down the union message board, then asked for the resignation of some members who opposed the merger. Now she is trying to recall the vice chairman.

I can understand she wants to save her fiance's job, but it should not be done at the expense of the f/a's she represents.

Actually, that should have been done about 10 years ago.

It should have been done before any jfj's negotiations or concessions were offered. It's too late for a DOH merger of the Us Airways wholley owned carriers. There should be something done to help the ALG and PDT pilots and f/a's, I just don't think it would be DOH after all the work done to secure jobs for PSA.

With all do respect, the ALG/PDT seniority list is decades older then PSA's, it's time those old farts get what they've worked hard for.

And since you brought up the RJ's, if I remember correctly, it was the first group to completely sign off on concessions from all labor groups to get new equipment, not the one with the non-replaceable aircraft. Not PSA's doing, just Seigel's lying, and Piedmont's naivete.

Just my two cents.

Here's to merging the WO's.
Go Rangers.

I agree that some groups are getting screwed but look if they where going to do this it needed to be done before the first CRJ arrived. PSA already has CRJs and is flying them revenue on certain routes to complete IOE. This is a cry for help so that one persons husband will keep his job........As for DOH that is what the information flyers said to the PSA flight attendants straight date of hire. What a joke PSA AFA Chair Women I am calling for your resignation and I am not even a flight attendant. What you have done is a disgrace and you do not deserve the position you are in.
