Is anyone else having problems sending resumes over to AirTran, as e-mail?
Every time I try it it gets sent back to me!!!!#&^%

It usuaully means the designated mailbox is full, so the server returns any new messages. Try calling pilot recruiting. I don't know the number offhand, but you could try 407 251-5600 and ask for pilot recruiting or HR.

I tried to send my resume twice last week. Each attempt was sent back by the server because the mailbox was full. Hopefully they will empty it soon!

It took me a year of trying to get on with AirTran. And that was when nobody wanted to come here, and only half the people would show up for class. I saw and talked to Greta Charles in HR 2 weeks ago... and believe me... they are SWAMPED!!

Be persistent. It will pay off... if you are qualified.

Air Tran offered me an interview about four years ago.
I had to try for about 2 years, but what I feel got it was persistence and innovation. The most important thing you can do is be proactive. Go to HQ if you can and plunk an update with your resume down every two-four weeks. Get someone in HR to really take notice of you (in a good, professional way). Like it or not, it is scratch and claw out there. The most aggressive will prevail in the end. On the plus side, I don't think there is a lot really proactive competition in this industry, and many pilots still seem to think it's all about flight time and ratings. The world is your oyester.
Best of luck!

airtran pft

PFT was around during the Valujet days, all FO's were typed @ FlightSafety. AirTran has never been PFT.

Thanks for all the info...
I have been trying for the last 8 months, and will keep doing till I hear from them.
Best of luck to you all:) :D

Had problems with email twice but got through on third attempt; used the fax for update to resume-MUCH EASIER(See Airtran Website for Fax number as my feeble memory does remember the fax number
