Does anyone have any idea how long the wait is to get an interview at AirTran? The reason I ask is that I have a contract at my current job that doesn't expire for over a year.
Should I wait until 6 mths, 3 mths, etc from the end of my contract to even apply. I realize they have a tremendous amount of qualified resumes on file. I'm just hoping to get a shot.
I have a ton of buddies there who are willing to give me a recommendation. Would this help me much in getting interviewed sooner? I just don't want this contract to be an issue for me.

Thanks abd good luck to all.

Never wait. Start applying now. Senority is everything, it would even be worth you paying off your contract.
