I know I cannot answer your question, but I do have a question for you or anyone else who can offer their knowledge on the subject. Is AirTran even interviewing pilots who do not meet their rather new posted requirement of 500 hours Part 121 PIC time? (I know a year or so ago this was not at all required.)
I notice your profile shows you have 4500 total time and that you are captain (I assume on the BE1900?) Do you then meet these requirements?
Does anyone else know just how strict this new requirement is?
Also, can you or anyone else tell me the typical process? My resume was walked in last month. Assuming they over look my lack of 121 PIC time, would I expect to get an application in the mail next, or would I simply get a direct call for an interview first? Either way, what is the typical time frame?
Thanks in advance, and best of luck to you.
