--AirTran announced it will start service in June from
Atlanta to both Los Angeles and Las Vegas using Airbus
A320 aircraft, just two weeks after JetBlue said it
will begin nonstop flights between Atlanta and Long
Beach, Calif. AirTran flights will initially be
operated by its marketing partner, Wichita-based Ryan
International Airlines, and both routes will have two
daily flights. The new flights are in addition to
AirTran's launch of Denver service in May, which will
operate with AirTran's Boeing 717 aircraft
