I noticed that one of the airports back in my old practice area where I grew up has changed its ID. Was wondering how long ago that happend so the question here is does anyone here on FI know a way to find out when an airport offically changed its ID?

The FAA has Airport District offices just like they have Flight Standards District Offices (FSDO). Use this link to find your region then contact the District Office and they may be able to help with your question.
