We are currently looking at adding a partner or two for our jet to share costs. It is proving difficult to find people or a company that is interested. Many people charter, but have no intention of buying a plane. Do you guys have any suggestions?

We currently have a citation VII and if we do talk to people, we always let them know we are interested in another airplane if they would like something else.

Plane is located in SE Pennsylvania if that helps anyone.

Feel free to PM me.

Where are you based? For example, I know a couple of operations in Denver that manage a handful of local part 91 airplanes. I'd try to find something like that, because in my experience EJM, Jet... all those players are pretty stinkin' $$$!

Partnerships are tricky. The folks I work for bought into the Lear 35 I was flying. Turns out the other partner (the one who hired me) was "repurposing" some of the money that was supposed to be directed to the airplane account. Long story short, they gave him the option: we'll sue you or you can just forfeit your interest in the airplane.

Now we just work for one couple. They've threatened to charter, but the loss of flexibility coupled with the additional cost of training, staffing and management makes it impractical.
