Does anybody have any info on these guys? Good company, bad company or something in between? All I know is they fly freight out of BFI.

You know about as much as I do. I met one of their Chieftain pilots at my layover in Medford. I think they operate PA31's, some other twins, a Beech 99 and maybe some others. Seems like a great place to build multi time to get on somewhere else, but doesn't have the perks that Ameriflight has (if you can call them perks...). Small mom and pop type company. Haven't heard anything negative and the pilots seem like a great group. Hope this helps.

I worked there several years ago. One of the best places you can go to "learn the ropes." Why? Because the flying is tough and the chief pilot is one of the best people I have ever met. He will back you up. Maint. is good. (better than most.) Certainly, it doesn't have the growth potential that Amflight has, but its a great place with even better people. You will laugh everyday at that job. Good luck-

I've heard the same as what BAT31 says. The chief pilot is a great guy, and everyone I've talked to loves their job and the people they work with. A great place to build up some time.

I believe they have just seneca's and cheiftains...and one 99.

Last I knew the 99 is pretty much just for decoration. It's due for a lot of maintenance, but they're not going to do it unless they get a contract for it, but they probably won't get one, since they can't operate it at a low enough cost to beat AMF's price.
Everyone I ever knew there liked working there, and they all were able to get jobs easily at commuters after their 6 month contract was up -- if they wanted to leave, that is.

contract

I heard it was 9 months now at Airpac...?

My info is a bit dated, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was up to 9 months now. That means that the new guys will all get to see a full winter flying over the "Ice Makers" -- some people managed to only get the fog.
