airnet

went to interview last week sim peace of cake engine failures stalls mca steep turns partial panel and a hold along with vor a into newark and ils 28l into cmh. have lunch part of the interview be sure to talk and have a couple of good stories. what kind of fruit and why, engines on most flown twin, goals both long and short, lost both engines at night wwyd, at blue line still descending wwyd, favorite aviation movie. i was nervous as hell and did not talk much did not get the job do to no multi last 6 mths. take a written test covers plates, weather, ac performance

When I took the test (almost 4 years ago) it was 61/91 stuff. Wear a suit, brush your teeth and be yourself. Relax, there is no trick or games played on the interview. Show genuine interest in working for Airnet for the long haul and keep a good sense of humor.

NO SUIT! Dont be one of those guys who can't follow simple istructions. Don't look like a slob, but definitely no suit.

airnet isn't expressjet, they don't bring people to interview who don't have the time. they know how much time you have, including recency. so try again as to why you didn't get the job.

didn't get the job because i'm not as awesome as i thought
there, fixt it for you

No suit for the interview??????

I assume you wear one for an interview at a regional and major.

Yeah, but Airnet is not that kind of company. Most of us chose Airnet over regionals. Regionals are for PFT grads. As for the Majors, uh yeah wear a suit.

Yeah, suits not necessary. When i interviewed they just told us to wear a pair of slacks and a nice polo or button up shirt...no tie.

For a major or a regional, yeah wear a suit...you are interviewing for a job with them that puts you into the public's eye for your entire day so they want to see that you can at least look decent by dressing up. At Airnet you will rarely ever see any of the public, and when you do they are so tired and out of it they barely notice you are there to begin with. Like has always been said, dress for the interview like you would for the job...ok, well don't dress down that much, even for an Airnet interview...i don't think they want you to show up in a pair of khaki shorts and a dirty t-shirt with a ballcap on that says Airnet.

Good luck
