My question is what aircraft do they usually start you in? What upgrade time is like? Pay? Domicile? How is airnet if you have a family? and if 760tt and 158 multi is competitive?
 
With your time, you are probably not up to competitive mins yet. They have restarted the SIC program, but from what I have heard (I live in CMH, but haven't been there in over 1.5 months: floater) they are accepting individuals that have around 1000TT. Keep up your flying and you'll get there soon enough. I started a year ago with 1200.5, now sitting around 2200 hrs and just finished Lear training in Dallas. Upgrade is around 8 months from props to jet, yet it may take a month or so to get to a training class at Simuflight in Dallas. Once hired, you start in the props depending on what base you are awarded. Props include Baron, Chieftan, 310 and Caravan. Bases vary depending on when you get hired and who just either left the company or upgraded and vacated their run. It is all about timing. If your family is willing to move anywhere, then AirNet might be an option for you. Just remember, upgrade to the jet may and most likely will include another move in 8+ months depending on when you upgrade. Same with SIC to Captain. It's all seniority based. Hope that helps.

Just a warning- HIJACKING IN PROGRESS!!!

But anyway, I was holding short of 15R this morning at BWI, with the RVR running around 1800. Out of nowhere comes a lovely starcheck baron, sliding down the ILS. No landing lights, just like it should be under those conditions. Touched down on the fixed distance markers and on came the landing lights. Beautiful. Brought a smile to my face thinking of those nights doing 8 approaches to min's by yourself.

Fun flying.

Next airplane in was a Fedex heavy, they went missed.
 
It doesn't hurt to put in an application. I'm flying the Baron and the Caravan on the east coast. Don't expect to get based where you want out of training. Once training is over, they'll give the options that they have available. Also, you don't really get assigned to a base until you meet 135 mins. If you get on below that, you can go wherever is closest or most convenient for you to get to the 1200. The pay is probably better than any regional out there...at least first year, and the upgrade to the jet is pretty low, at least I'm told. This place will definitely put you at the time of your game, as far as instrumet skills goes.

We're everywhere.... just check out www.airnet.com and they have the info on there. From BUR to TEB and in between.
 
3 planes in a row went missed before me going into Teterhole earlier this week. i'm on a 1/2 mile final and tower asks me when i had to go missed. tell them i'm on short final and someone gets on frequency and goes "Airnet pilots rule!"
