I am sure these questions have been asked many times before, but I am fairly new to the site and appreciate any feedback. I was just wondering some basics about the company like...what the bases are? what life is like for a new hire, schedule/money etc...? Thanks

You're right scroll to the top ofthe page, on a thin blue line there are several words three from the right says search. Type in AirNet and you will find many answers and no they don't hire directly into the Lear.

Easy Jaybird,

like i said, I am new to the site so I didnt even think of a search function. Even so, If someone had a few answers it would be alot easier then searching through all the fluff on the threads. There is really no need to be fresh. And yeah I thought you got hired right to the lear so thanks for clearing that up.

No prob., everyone always asks that question;) . Good Luck

hiring into the lear on the charter side...ONLY if you can meet minimums with time in a/c type.

Hey Jaybird, did you go to XJT? If so, do you think you guys can fly those things any faster, or do they limit the speed to just to piss off the freight guys who would like to go fast. Every night i get slowed down on my first leg because a darn EMB is going what seems like C-150 speeds while flying a 15 mile final even though he called the field and was cleared for a visual 10 miles prioir to passing the field for his downwind. One other thing, you guys must get a darn good deal on fuel everywhere...I know i always hear them staying low (18K and lower on 250 mile legs) and wasting gas...go higher, you burn less and save the company money. Now you know i'm just messin' with ya right?!?! I remember when you first came here for your short stay, so i have the right to bust your chops...although i am kinda serious about the slow speeds and all, but i could care less if you guys waste money staying low.

No Cotex. Chq in CMH and I always do 250 to the marker for you guys:) . As for cruise, I can't help you there. Unless we pull the breakers for the aural warning unit;) .

It was fun while it lasted, but I have it too easy now. It's nice to see everyone blasting off when I show at 5:30.

Have fun and fly safe.
