Hi,
Myself and a friend are in the March 17th class at Airnet, wondering who else will be joining us on March 17th!

Pete

Congrats Pete (and friend), i am sure i will see you hanging around the hanger.

fossil...

They reimburse $50 night for hotel (i think it is up to 5 days), per diem of $35 per day (for that 5 days you spend moving), they will pay for you to rent a truck (U-Haul, ryder or the like), they will pay for you to hire people to load it and unload it as well. If you move in your own vehicle they will pay for mileage plus the above except for the truck, loading and unloading part.

And don't forget, one move reimbursement per seat assignment.

It's a good thing Airnet doesn't have any competition anymore. It's not like the good ole days when you had to make your deadlines or you got fired.

What? Please elaborate.

Dispatch used to call Morris a pu$$y for flying so slow and not flying during bad weather

I want to see one of those clowns in dispatch go on a night of convective activity. They talk a lot smack when they're sitting on their fat a$$es.

OTOH I don't understand how someone can consistantly miss deadlines unless it's due to wx.

anyone know if this applies for the new guys for their initial move to their initial base, or is this for when you change your base assignment.

Every seat assignment gets one move...including the new hires. You get to choose when to use it. You can use it immediately or if you are going to try to move later on the same a/c you can use it down the road for that move. It's all up to you.
