I'm trying to do the 'AirlineApps.com' thing and I'm running into a couple questions and would appreciate your help.
What is the deal with an Unemployment reference? If you were unemployed, how could you have a professional reference to verify your activities during unemployment? The only references, in many cases, are relatives (which are not allowed as references). Personally, I have 3 periods of unemployment:
1) stopped working for pilot training [this one is easy, just list the 141 school I attended].
2) stopped working to attend college full-time [I guess just list the college registrar office # to verify I attended?].
3) stopped working due to company lay-off and, subsequently, took on a full load of units at the local junior college [again, college registrar?]
Also, I have this friend of a friend who knows this guy who has a teeny tiny misdemeanor from 14 years ago. The blank on the application has an asterisk that says you are not required to answer if prohibited by law in your state. How does he find out if California is one of those states that protects from answering that question or not? And if CA does protect, then should he answer that question anyway in the interest of full disclosure?
To all who care to answer, I thank you in advance for your help!!!
