What about underage drinking tickets? I got one a couple years ago and the way they said it works is you pay the fine and that's it. It never leaves the towns records.
Finally got popped for delivering papers under the influence, huh? Didn't know riding a stingray under the influence of peppermint schnapps would get you popped though. Call PCL he might have some(bad) advice for you though!

Depends on the jurisdiction, but in most places, that's dead wrong.

As far as answering if you've had a conviction, or been arrested...yes, you still have to answer in the affirmative...and yes, there are a lot of jobs in which it can affect your employability in this industry.

Many employers, rightfully so, aren't particularly interested in entrusting their seventy million dollar turbojet airplane to someone who can't handle the basics of keeping drinking and driving separate. If you can't handle a simple responsibility such as driving your own car...you've really got no business in an airplane.

Hmmm...DUIs or underage drinking.

I don't see it as a deal breaker. But it CANNOT be in recent history and not more than once. The 'longer ago' the better. But when they are just looking at paper work before they pick selectees to interview...then THAT is when it really helps to have a buddy on the inside to say..."he's a good guy" ect. Otherwise then, they might over look you.

who the F gets 45 tickets? Your ass is going to jail after 10. 30 you're going for a long time.

I can see how someone could get away with 45 tickets and not getting locked up. Not all states talk to each other as far as driving records go, so they would all have to be over multiple states that don't communicate.

Here in Ohio, if one of those people from michigan gets pulled over, they are taken in and must post bail (if they plan on fighting it) or pay the ticket on the spot. This is because michigan does not honor or act on Ohio tickets (i.e. If a ticket wasn't paid, michigan wouldn't suspend the license or act on the bench warrant for failure to appear).
