I'm a W1 in flight school and we will be selecting Aircraft soon. I was hoping that i could get the pros and cons of each mission/ aircraft available. I don't particularly care about the air frame, the mission seems the most important to me. If their are any experienced army aviators out there that could help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Easy call UH-60.

Why? Because it gives you the most options where you can be stationed.

When it comes down to it, your duties in any Army unit will be the same. NBC, supply, pubs etc. no matter what aircraft you fly. You may fly only 150 hours a year, that equates to roughly ten days spent in the cockpit and 354 days spent on the ground. It is your choice if you want to spend those 354 days rotating between Fort Bragg and Korea or if you would like the chance to go to Italy, Fort Lewis, Fort Carson or a number of other palce where the Army has UH-60's. You think the mission is imporatant now, but you will learn it is quality of life that is really important. Look at airline pilots on this board, do they talk about what cool jets they fly? No, they talk about quality of life and union issues.
