Maybe a few AWAC pilots could answer this question for me. Somebody at AWAC mentioned that the latest system wide bid showed 12 unfilled pilot positions. I'm not real familiar with the AWAC's bidding format but does this mean that these 12 openings will be filled by new hires, probably in January? Thanks for the help...

Not really, with the decline of the DO328 on fast forward the 12 could come from them. Hang in there T5 you'll be in class before you know it. There is to be some major movement announced here next week.

WD.

I'm not sure which bid you are talking about. The major realignment bid that closed on the 28th had more than 12 open slots but like trickdaddy said with the D328s on the way out there are a lot of us to be trained into the RJ in the next 6 months, which basically slows everything down for the newhires/interviewees. We will know alot more in the next week or so.
