I just set up my interview for air wisconsin later this month and was wondering if anyone has been up to appleton recently... Just kinda wondering how the whole day goes and what sort of questions were asked... All that sort of stuff... What they ask on their quiz...

Thanks Much!

I interviewed about one year ago and got the job, PM me and I'll give the specifics at that time. The interview changed quite a bit from pre 9/11 to post 9/11, so it very well could have changed again, but I'll pass on to you what I went through.

Bumble Bee, congrats on the interview, hope it works out well. Not to pry or anything, but you don't currently work at another Denver-based carrier, do you? If that's the case, all the more luck to you!

-Edited so as not to refer to Bumble Bee as a "hoe." My apologies.

I interviewed there last week and they have changed the format. Most of the HR questoins will be the same but the quiz is different. Check out aviationinterviews.com for my post. Good luck.

My advice would be to concentrate on the HR portion of the interview. Basically just be yourself and be honest. Not sure who is doing the interviews these days but they will put you at ease right from the start. I remember I had them laughing with a couple of my stories and it seemed to help. Wait, I did lie when i was asked if i was a packers fan though.:D They know most of us can fly airplanes, but what they want to know is whether or not any of them would be able to tolerate flying with you for a few days at a time.

As far as the quiz goes, i wouldnt sweat it too much. not sure exactly how much weight they put on it, but when we started groundschool they pretty much hinted to us that the quiz was just a formality.

as far as the sim goes, it was pretty straight forward. the only thing is if i remember correctly there is no standby attitude indicator. so when your AI does fail dont forget that you have a turn coordinator.

like i mentioned this was a year ago, and some stuff may have changed. but i do believe concentrating more on the hr portion. Good Luck

How long have those of you with recent interviews had your apps in with Air Whiskey? Does anyone know if they are currently accepting apps? There job hotline says they are not.
