Just got called in for an Air Tran interview and am looking for any current info on what the interview contains? Also, for those currently working at Air Tran, what's the quality of life like, schedules, pay, etc? Thanks in advance for any information.

I may be wrong in asking this, but why do people apply to airlines and NOT know anything about the quality of life, pay, work rules, schedules etc?

Pay: Airlinepilotpay .com
Days off: Reserve 12, Lineholder about 14-17
QOL: Good in my point of view

So you mean the Air Force Pilot who was in my interview group at FEDEX 2 months ago who asked while looking at the model airplane on the desk " Whats an MD-11" and "Do they fly into Memphis" Not only was he looking at an MD-11 Model in HR's board room he had no idea about the company.

I've checked out the pay on airlinepilotpay.com before but I'd heard rumors of a TA and I guess that's what I was addressing. If you could suggest a place to find out about QOL besides this forum I'm listening. From what I've heard, Air Tran is a great company and that's why I applied, I like their expansion plans, their route structure and the fact that they are apparently financially sound. I was just trying to get some input from some current employees as to how you like the company to help me cement my decision. Thank you.

XDeriver,
yup thats what I'm talking about. I reserced AAI on the web and through SEC filing etc. But I admit I am a little....um, you well get the idea.

WWC,
So far as the TA I also would like to know what is says. However one doesn't exist. It sounds as if you do know a lot about the company and have done some research.
