Well, the FAA did shut down Execstar...

I have to ask, Why is air Tahoma such a hot subject on this board now?

I not saying its a bad subject, but it seems just a month or so ago I had never even of heard the name, now its all you see.

Just wondering.

Because Air Tahoma, the Rude family, and their puppet RW have pushed people around and cut corners so long that the word needs to get out. If your wondering what they have been doing check out the "Air Tahoma Facts" thread started by myself.

Even after all of the shady things they do, they still operate. The FAA turns a blind eye, so it's up to the MANY former employees to get the word out and hopefully save other people from harm.

Maybe the word getting out will save some careers and lives? We can all only hope.

Even though i dont have the time yet i will never work for Air Tahoma. I work at an FBO and have seen them come in here a few times. Everything that has been said about there airplanes on this board is true. I dont see how anyone could ever think about flying an airplane that leaks a gallon of oil on the ramp in an hours time. Not to mention what is under the wing. Everyone could go on and on but its all been said before.

Bob,

You didn't say which type of aircraft. If it was one of their 340/440's, I would be worried if it don't leak oil. Like it was out of oil.

...and if you are African-American or a woman, odds are they wouldn't hire you as a pilot anyway. I believe it's been years since they've had either of those. Am I wrong?

Air Tahoma does not have 340's and 440's, they only have ex US Air Force VT-29B(240)!!

Bud Rude, who honks bobo, had placed a self enforced limit of 50"(wet or dry)!! I do not think they have an FAA approved reduced takeoff power program of the convair 240!! This makes the runway analysis for these airplanes useless!! I bet the FAA does not know about this!!

Shiver me timbers, I bet those R2800-CA-15 engines would not make their 55" wet and not blow a cylinder!! Flying those things at 42,000lbs would be like trying to move the HMS Feathersword with a trolling motor!!

Makes me feel save living out to sea!!

Honking on bobo!!!

THAT is the funniest thing I have EVERY heard about Air Tahoma management....

Go get em' Captain!!
