Salutations All: My real job is for a fire district in Central Oregon. We also have the ALS transport service for our area. Yesterday we were informed (not by ALO) that they won't be operating; for possibly several weeks. Yikes!! Here we are in the middle of the weekend and our helo & fixed wing service has gone away. This really impacts us. We really depend on these guys and gals, they are absolutely awesome. They save lives on a regular basis. Any information would be appreciated. What is going on? Thanks!!

Don't know what's up for sure, somebody posted the question on justhelicopters.com a while back, looks like some possible staffing issues with mechanics and medical staff. Here is the link:

Be very weary of the justhelicopters forum, 99.9999 percent crap with 0.0001 percent fact, and even that is a conservative stretch on the numbers. Anyway, not much information at all, but it's a start. Hope you guys get your service back soon.

Thanks Chuck. That little bit of background helped. Life Flight has been covering for them on the helo side. Fixed wing is still down. Should be some sort of press release this week. St. Charles has been keeping everyone in the dark. But at least we have some coverage back.
