I don't know of any website, but you're recruiter will get an email within a few days of the board meeting, listing all of those who got accepted. If you've been sponsored by a unit, the odds are definately in your favor.
You might want to try these sites as well. I guess if all else fails, you may be able to see if a recruiter has a contact number, or one of those sites might also.
Quick question for you military guys, I'm already sponsored with a AF Reserve unit and just waiting for my OTS/UPT dates and found this excerpt (see below) on one of the links provided above. Whats the difference between non-rated and rated portions. What category do pilots fall under and does this mean that for all of us who are waiting for our dates are going to be pushed back? Thanks
RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas — Due to fiscal 2005 Air Force force-shaping efforts, the non-rated (both non-technical and technical) portions of the March 28, 2005 and May 10, 2005 Officer Training School selection boards (05OT04 and 05OT05) have been rescheduled for August 2005, Air Force Recruiting Service officials announced today.
The rated panels for these boards will convene as scheduled, according to AFRS officials.
haven't heard any word yet, but getting pretty anxious. I've been bugging my recruiter to make sure she tells me when my dates are. Have you heard anything? Hopefully we'll find out soon I got sponsored in September and have been ready to go and start training ever since. I'm just like you also (A wannabe tanker driver). Send out a posts when you get the word.
I spoke to my squadron and they thought they might be released next week. Hearing officially can take longer, I have heard anywhere from 2 weeks to a wopping month. Good luck all!
It took about a month or so for me to get the good news from my recruiter. When you do finally find out, you'll want to go and swear in ASAP. I leave for OTS in 9 days...then UPT at the end of August.
I spoke w/ my recruiter this past Wednesday (30 March) and he said they selected 42 out of 45 applicants for UPT. He did not say if the 3 that were not selected were sponsored or non-sponsored, but said 10 of the 45 were non-sponsored applicants, so we shall see what happens! He said this coming week we should find out the results. Good luck everyone.
From what I was told, there was a screening process before the 45 (I heard 47 packages) met at the board. AFRC didn't want to waste all the Colonels' time looking over unqualified applicants. Since there are only 2 boards a year, there must be hundreds of applications (at least one would assume.)
So it does seem that out of the qualified applicants, they did pick the lion's share. Which is good news for most.
That makes sense, though the board met last Wednesday. I would think though that if you wernt qualified they would of told your recruiter before the board met. I wish they would just list the results....This waiting period is not fun, but I guess welcome to the AF! being sponsored is huge though, only time can tell...
Supposedly, everything is signed off as of yesterday. So the decisions have been made on selectees... now they should be starting to contact squadrons and recruiters with who's in. Could be sometime this week.
My recruiter called me this morning with the good news. She said however, that they are not "Officially" posted yet but should be any day therefore she didn't know my dates. But they do know who's in and who's not. Hope to hear some more good news from the rest of you guys soon.
