I have seen their ads in the WSJ quite a bit and I have looked at their website.

Anyone know anything about Air Castle - what is it like to work there? What are the conditions like vs. other charter operators? Do you need either a CL601 or GIII type to get interviewed - if they were interviewing?

Any actual Air Castle pilots out there willing to comment? Do they mainly fly transcon or do they fly worldwide?

Looking forward to opinions, etc.

Thanks

The "Castle"..

Well, for what it's worth...They have recently moved their operation from KTEB to a lovely local in Southern NJ know as Milville(KMIV). They just recently started operating their 3 rd GIII. It's a managed a/c I saw in PBI the other day. I know this b/c a pal of mine was the FA on it. I have heard that they are fairly low on the pay scale, compared to others, sorry no exact figures.

They used to have a 2 week on/off deal. They usually don't spend too much time in anyone locale, and don't usually get the news there flying till 30 minutes before. No kidding!!
They use to advertise for current folks, and had a training contract.

G-man.

Gumby...I posted my experience on the charter thread. It's been over 4 years since I flew there.....according to your buddy, things have changed.
