I seem to get a different impression.... This place is FAR AND AWAY better than the "other" Shorts 360 carrier out there....Trust me, I KNOW.I'm42 said:All I know about them is that you'll never get any time off -- especially if they know you have an interview somewhere else. A friend of mine who worked there said that they're good at cheating you out of pay. Pretty shady place, even for a cargo operator.
I am not sure what the full story on that is. However, I do know that is not the case if you give the Cheif Pilot a little heads up when you need time off.I'm42 said:All I know about them is that you'll never get any time off -- especially if they know you have an interview somewhere else. I believe that there was approx. a month notice given, but the person was also honest about the fact that it was an interview with another carrier. There were also many other requests that were denied....maybe it was just that they were too short of captains.Wankel7 said:I am not sure what the full story on that is. The person in question worked there for at least 5 years; I believe the longer one works somewhere, the more one learns about the company. To be fair, though, I've never worked there, so I can only relate what I've heard from my friend.....but still, I believe that I was not being mislead at all. Yes, there could have been other circumstances of which I am not aware -- just posting what I know....I have never had a problem getting days off. After working here for a year and a half I would not call it shady for a second.
