They use mostly helicopters,the distances from small towns to the big hospitals are not that far apart.

There is one out of Charlotte. Carolina Medflight or something like that. They work with Carolina Medical center I think. King airs and citation. Not sure about the pay, but you are only on call 12hrs a day, days off, all out n backs. Not sure on the contact info, sounds like a decent place if you want to take it easy.-kingaira90
