I think what's funny about these restricted areas around DC, or any area for that matter, is that the only people that will get into trouble for penetrating the area are the innocent people that didn't mean to do it. Otherwise, a person that has intentions of blowing something up or crashing into something, will be shot down anyway.


A while back I was wanting to take pictures of my niece's softball game from the air and asked the tower to circle for a few minutes. He said, "what's going on over there" I said, "a softball game". The tower then said he couldn't allow me to circle a "sporting event". I mean, if I was going to do something, do you think I would ask for permission first?? GOOD GRIEF...
