while i was on active orders i attempted to take the AFOQT at Travis AFB. I got the run-around from the active duty side who sent me to reserve recruiter, who then sent me to individual units, who were in the process of deploying etc (nothing was accomplished).

I recently left my info on the Reserve recruiting website and I still have not received a reply. I feel as if the recruiters just deleted the email knowing that it would be a waste of their time to administer the test to someone who is not going to affect their enlistment quota. I attempted to contact a MEPS site but i had no luck. since I am Dulles Based, It's hard to believe there wouldn't be one in the area.

the question is: How should I go about taking the AFOQT?

thanks in advance.

Go talk to a local AFROTC detachment, they have one every other week. Maybe you can test there?

Call the recruiters for the ANG at Andrews, I not 100% sure but bet you can take it there. Either that or there has to be a MEPS center around the DC area where you can take it.

I took the AFOQT in June 1997 at the MEPS center in PHL. Just went thru the local guard recruiter to set it up if I remember.
