For the guys that have been recently selected, what does it take to be competetive for a pilot slot these days and how do you think things will be in a year or two? Thanks in advance!

I got this information off another message board. These are the averages from board 0403:

GPA=3.28
AFOQT
Pilot:88.1
Navigator:80.4
Acad Aptitude:68.2
Verbal:67.9
Quantitative:63.6

119 applicants, 56 selectees, 47% selection rate

Obviously, this makes no mention of flight hours, ratings, PCSM score, or anything that relates to the "whole person concept." I was selected by board 0401 and the averages were about the same.
