Friend just told me it was a complete waste of time. Anyone else? And who the hell is Elite Express still flying BAC-111's?

Wate of time?

Nah, ya get to meet folks, sometimes old friends. hand out resumes, free snack type food, deduct the trip on taxes and even get a job from it.

I know, I was hired as a result of going to MIA for the previous job fair.

I had a friend go and he got an interview offer from TransMeridian. At least it was free. He said that a lot of guys were from ATA looking, so for the low time guy it might be a complete waste of time.

I wonder if Polar/Atlas hired anyone? Or how about Tradewinds?

good cheap informative?

First job fair I ever went to. Jumpseated down there (free transportation). No admission fee. Long lines to get in the rooms to talk to reps, but did drop a bunch of resumes. Well worth the $12 cab ride for the experience! Whether anything will come from it...you never know unless you try!! I think it was worth the trip.
