For those of you who have flown these aircraft, what is your opinion of them? Good points, bad points, etc.

I may be in the market to buy one but would like some input from those with experience.

Thanks in advance.

From one experience with a Lark. Slow and draggy (for a high wing, "cessna" style plane), well built, tough.

Thanks, Flywithastick. Anyone else?

Lark

I don't usually like to comment on aircraft unless I have a lot of time in them, but I'll make an exception for you!

My impression, with about three hours in the Lark, is that it gets the job done for a good price. The biggest downside, from MY prespective, is I think it is CLUNKY and maybe Jeeplike. This may be a good thing in the backcountry as the front nosegear looks like it is made pretty heavy.

Bottom line, It's no Beechcraft!!

Thanks, Sauce, for your reply. (Cool helmet, by the way.)

Anyone else got an opinion on these aircraft?

I flew a Commander 100 about 15 hrs. back in 1971--I think this was called the Lark. I remember it as a real dog performance wise--any Lycoming powered C 172 could outperfom the one I flew on takeoff & climb. Cruise performance was about the same. As previously posted they seem to be well built.
