AE bonuses???

heard AE is going to be paying bonuses to keep pilots and now here there is also a change to cause a MASS Exodus

Dont know about the bonus rumor. But yes heard that there will be a mass exodus. apparently ALPA and APA have reached an agreement on letter 3(flowthrough) sounds like they will begin taking those with AA numbers, and giving AA numbers to those who have elected flow and call them in order. This will take about 750 of the most senior guys, dropping our upgrade to about 2 years. Now the question is will letter 3 be extended, and many say yes, which means that those upgrading to CA will also be given the chance to flow.

Well you and other bunch of a$$es can go ahead and just leave, bump up some of our seniorities. Secondly no one knows anything, but one thing is for sure management knows that unless something good comes out of the negotiations people will be leaving.

I also agree that upgrade is not going to be dropping next week but what I do know is that what's happening now is not the same thing that happened a couple of year ago. I honestly think that we have more of an upper hand in this whole deal than management. I know management is greedy and self center, and a bit stupid...but I really dont think that they're so stupid that they are going to just ignore everything and everyone around them and force a max exodus to happen. You have to remember that their job is also on the line here. We're already very very very short on FO's on the Embraer, if 200 more left in the next few months that would be devastating for the operation. We all have to be a bit optimistic and hope (work) for the best. But at the same time we have to unite and work to get what we not only want but need. The e-mail campaign of two weeks ago was great, we got managements attention and a few hundred of us united to do so. Now imagine if every single pilot at eagle would've united with us.

Holy crap, calm down! I really don't expect to get a monetary bonus from mgmt in the future, but if it happens then great! I as well as many others, would prefer to have an opportunity for career advancement (upgrade, or better flowthrough, etc) as opposed to a $1000 bonus.
