What do you think of these 2 books:

Pilot's rules of thumb

Pilot's pocket handbook

Both by Art Parma publishing. Are they really good/usefull?

I think I have one of them. It somewhere in the bottom of my flight bag, not opened since the first time I looked at it after I bought it about 6 (or more)years ago.

I have both of those books. Just like the other guy stated, I haven't looked at them since I bought them. They are about 3 inches tall, if those are the books you are talking about.

You only need to go as far as FlightInfo for the hookup - I recommend going thru here, putting the ones you need on a index card, and be done with it!
