It looks to me that ACASS is spreading its wings. If this is a good thing for the pilot community, I don't think so.
More and more ACASS is able to convince owner that they are cheaper and can get crews at lower rates.
In the USA and M.E., Far East they are seen more and more.

As for the pilot pay, it is subpar, the training is rarely in the contract and pay raises out of the question. Unfortunately there are too many pilots in despair not standing up to better terms and willing to fly for less then norm.

Just like the reef shark, it survives on the minimal.

Anyone recently heard of management changes to this ACASS company and see their Flight Department per diem and salary change ?

Good luck with it ....

The operations/owners that go with such garbage were never good places to work anyhow....(99% of the time)

There will always be that level of job in every industry.

Seen it many times....save a few dollars (to spend much more later) and run a revolving door, understaffed, underpaid, burned out contract pilot department with low end pilots....oh, and switch Management Companies every 2 years because someone is always trying to screw you...leaving a wake of bills, lawsuits, rumors, and employees behind.

Same old story.

Exactly. Low-budget operators are always gonna' be out there, and they're always gonna' be low-budget operators, and you don't want to work for 'em no way, no where, no how.

I would have to be VERY hungry to sign on with them.
