Hot off the press: ACA hiring #'s.

Hiring 8 in Dec
Hiring 26 in Jan
Hiring 333 in 2003

Not sure where we'll put all those pilots...

Just to explain a little of what I posted up above. The rolling bid is a very complex system. A pilot can bid every three months. Slots in the next three months are firm (the hard period) The slots I listed are the slots in the next hard period that no one bid for and are therefore listed as available. These are generally those which would go to new hires. If there is a problem with someone's bid it is possible for that slot to go to a current ACA pilot. Slots more than three months out (a soft period) pilots will have a chance to bid for again.

ummm...

isn't the permanent bid done in trimesters, i.e. every four months?

anyway, i get about 70 slots, too, by my count, for the poolies.

anyone know how many in the pool?

t

followup to previous question: how many in the pool, and what interview dates are at the top of the pool?

(third week of september, and still waiting patiently.)

thanks,
