AA Retirements

Only 4 of the 68 were "former TWA". AA has many that are still on the MD-80 for seniority purposes.

Thanks much for the info. If I recall correctly, there should be approximately the same number of former TWAers and AAers that are over 60. The high number coming off of the Slave 80 caught me by surprise, as I figured that TWAers didn't have as many years in the pension program and that the cost/benefit analysis favored hanging in there for a while for them. Your numbers confirm that they're hanging in there for additional retirement savings.
 
How many have retired this year?

The number should be slightly north of 300. That's below the number that will retire annually once the normal retirement cycle returns. This is why I'd disagree with BrickTop ... there will be larger retirement numbers at AA than there will be shrinkage.
