I'll preface this by saying I'm not at AA, but know a ton of people there. I am friends with a bunch of the Eagle guys going through training now. I don't know exact numbers, however I do know it is rather low pay and here is why.
AA pays behind a month. So, you get hired Dec. 1st. You will get $1000 Dec 15th. The end of Dec. you will get paid what you flew for November. Well, you weren't there in Nov., so you get nothing.
This is how it is, so pretty rough the first few months. Airlinepilotcentral has all the current rates for first year. Also, I believe you get your own hotel room and don't have to share. If anyone on here knows more or if I'm wrong by all means let me know. The best of luck to you.
Fantom pretty much nailed it. The first year is rough for new hires. The first few months are even worse. Probably at the Candlewood during training. You'll check in at the beginning of training and keep the room until the checkride is over.
