I've been a contract for about 11 months now flying everything from Lears to Hawkers to Gulfstreams. I am now ready for a full time gig though.

I just recieved a grant from the government to pay for Sim school which is awesome! I am not one to pay for my own training as I believe a quality company should pay for it, so lets not turn this post into that debate please.
Since the gov is going to pay, I was trying to find any company that woud offer a full time job if I had a type. I have already spoken with a CP who said he would hire me as a contract guy on a G-550, but I'm really looking for something a little more stable.

If you guys hear anything in something heavy (G-IV, V, Falcon 2000 ect...) for an FO, it would be a great help. I'm based out of South Florida but originaly from NJ and wouldn't mind going back, thanks again. PM me if interested in the grant program.

Dude...how did you get Uncle Sam to open his wallet??? I've been casually surfing the web trying to find $$ for a type...something that will look good on the resume and bump me up a little...Spill the beans! :)

Dang! I want some of them bucks too!

You guys are worthless, I was looking for some help! Check out WIA. I'll make you work for it, the money is out there.

How about a job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You mean you conned, er, I mean "convinced" the WIA to part with enough to get a Gulfstream type?

WOW! You have a lucrative career as a lobbyist waiting for you. Screw this flying stuff...TC

Alright ... go out and get the G-550 type. You make $1500/day domestic and $1800/day international. You should be able to work 100 plus days a year.

Get yourself known out there. One of these outfits will hire you (assuming that you are not a booger eatin' moron). You will also have the advantage of seeing how an operation works from the inside.

Good luck!

He said he wanted an answer so I gave him one!!! :cartman:

He should really go out and get a 7X type (when avialable) and set the market rate at 2K/day. Funny thing is, he will get it.

LOL! Yeah, between the WIA and Flight Saftey "Just In Time" program I have enough to get a type, just hotels and rental cars coming out of my pocket.

But still looking for a full time gig, any help out there?
