Hi,

Bleed air supplied from the apu pneumatics or a ground air cart.

The 787 is an unknown as it is an electric bird, not using pneumatics from the engines for pressurization. So, it may use electric motors for starting, like the smaller turbofans do.
 
Every Turbine airplane I have flown used Electric starters. (see AC list in my profile) however most other airliners use air starters.
